TC.LIN.SER is a series of high precision ‘DC Post-Processors’ specially designed for the ambitious Solar Equipment R+D Laboratory. It is commonly known that real Solar Cell Arrays have a striking short electrical response time, hardly attainable even by state-of-the-art switch mode power supplies.
In order to simulate Solar Arrays in a one-to-one manner, TC.LIN Series offer up to 15 times faster response times and up to 10 times better accuracy of the reproduced solar I=f(U) function than standard switch mode DC power supplies. By this, solar cell simulation SAS becomes a new dimension in terms of response time, voltage/current accuracy and system power losses. TC.LIN.SER combines the fast response of a linear power amplifier with the precision and low thermal losses of a switch-mode unit.
The TC.LIN.SER Postprocessor matches perfectly to the REGATRON DC power source series as TC.P Series or TC.GSS/ TC.GSX Series. Communication is made up of well-proven CAN link and a common DC-sense line. Refitting of an already existing REGATRON Solar Array Simulation SAS system with an additional TC.LIN Postprocessor is quite simple therefore.
